Walk!. EN

Erickson of the University of Pittsburgh has shown that running 10 km per week protect us from the loss of brain mass that we all suffer in old age. Moreover, walking develops memory, regardless of age.

If you walk through a forest (what the Japanese call Shinrin-youku), the stress level decreases. Professor Morita's team at the University of Tokyo has proven it.

And you have a third advantage: running increases your creativity, as Marily Opezzo of Stanford University has published.

More memory, less stress and more creativity. Not bad for such an easy exercise.

If you leave work today, walk 20 minutes instead of driving your car or train. If it takes place in a forest or park, even better.

You don't have to wait years to see the first results: The effect comes immediately.
